West Aurora church of Christ
New Testament Christians serving the Lord and others

Everyone is always welcome

We meet for Bible Study and Worship services every Sunday and Wednesday. We would love for you and your family to join us to worship God and learn more about his word.

Who we are

Jesus promised: “…I will build My church” (Matthew 16:18). Our goal is to be the church which Christ built. Being a “church of Christ” means being Christ’s people – this means being the same as the church we read about in the Bible.

We are a diverse group, coming from every walk of life. Among us you will find singles, experienced parents with grown children, young parents with children, students, professionals, young people and seniors — all relying on God’s forgiveness and grace as they strive to glorify God through the lives they live.

Hold fast what is good

As a Church we encourage people to pray, give thanks to God, help and protect the weak, be patient, do good to everyone (even to people that have wronged us), and to seek the truth. We try to test everything; everything that we do as a group and as a individuals, to see if it aligns to God's will. If the things we do align to God's word we hold on to them and the things that don't are things we leave behind (1 Thessalonians 5:14-24). Our group is made up of people who are passionate about truth and about studying the word of God and his will for our lives.
